More About Our Policies
Arrival & Departure: Check-in is from 4 PM – 6 PM; checkout time is no later than 11 AM. Please contact the inn for early arrival & late departure requests. Late arrivals without proper notice will be subject to a $30 late check-in fee.
Occupancy: All rates are based on double occupancy; one additional guest may be accommodated in the Cunningham Suite at a surcharge of $50 per night. We are unable to provide discounted rates for rooms with single occupants.
Taxes: PA sales tax 6% | Somerset County local lodging tax 5%
Minimum Stay Requirements: Minimum stays are never required.
Rates: Rates are subject to change without notice. Weekend rates apply to all holidays.
Payment: A 50% deposit is required at time of booking with the remaining balance charged to the card on file the day of check-in.
Parking: Free street parking is available in front of the inn. There is also parking by the garage via the alleyway on the left of the inn.
WiFi: We offer complimentary WiFi to all of our guests. Please be advised that Verizon and AT&T are the only cellular service providers in the area.
Damages & Smoking: Guests are responsible for all damages to inn property. Smith House Inn is a smoke-free property. There will be a one night lodging fee plus a $200 cleaning fee incurred if smoking occurs inside the inn.
Lost Keys: There is a $50 fee for any key not returned. Please leave your room key in the room door at time of checkout.
